Looks like 8-10 inches of new snow and more in the forecasts. Nothing better than a white Christmas.

Highway 70 reassesment of closure on Monday with Caltrans and fire officials to determine WHEN hwy 70 will be re- opened.
The powers that be have rescinded the burn ban BUT issue a warning to be careful and use caution if you feel the need to burn yard stuff.
We have had alot of rain and snow at Bucks Lake, there is more on the way this next week. Also this is helping the fire fighting in the Camp fire the containment is 95% with no further acreage burned. The only non contained area is in steep terrain and not accessable so crews are standing by near area. Contingent lines are in place in this area.
I think they are getting a handle on it.
