Major Fires in Plumas County affecting Bucks Lake

The Claremount fire is close to Quincy and threatens the East Quincy area. There was a mandatory evacuation of East Quincy last night. 3,101 acres have been consumed by fire.

The BEAR FIRE is impacting Bucks Lake as it is 4 mile east of us. This is east near Mt. Arat and the Pacific Crest Trail

It is currently 250 acres, crews will continue to be active overnight building line, and treating hot spots.
