Winter is upon us

Rescue Sled attached to the ATV your ride out to the ambulance or helicopter if you get hurt at Bucks Lake

Well summer is over and the fire department is “winterizing” for the snow and cold.  Our fire engines are being drained of water and anti-freeze is back filled into the pumps.

We have provided training in the use of the rescue sled for our snowmobiler’s and groomer operators and all is ready.  Be careful out there and if you have a problem

Let’s hope for a wonderful, safe, winter and lots of snow to fill our lake and end the drought.  I for one will be around to enjoy Bucks Lake and all its glory in the winter months.
